I grew up in Latin America where my parents were missionaries. My husband, Jay, and I moved up from Surrey to Skipton in 2006, to be closer to family. We have two boys in their late teens - Daniel and Ryan.

I work in the healthcare sector, as a Market Research Director, and when not working, I enjoy walking in the Dales with our dog, Jackson, as well as attending keep fit-classes at the gym. 

I joined SBC 17 years ago, and over the past 10 years I have been involved in the Worship and Prayer ministries at the church. I am now also part of the Church Morning Service 'Hosting' team. 

I have been serving as a deacon since 2018. As the deacon who oversees Worship, I am passionate about encouraging worship in all its forms  - through music and song, but also through prayer and the reading of God's Word.
