I am Jo Nixon .  My husband Phil and I have been part of Skipton Baptist church since we moved to Skipton in 2003. Our two children were born here. 

I have been a deacon and the church secretary since 2016. I work as an accountant and use this experience to help with the church bookkeeping and annual accounts preparation. 

I also help at Sunday Gang and co-lead a Connect Group.  I consider it a real privilege to be a part of the SBC family of people seeking to serve God and make a difference in our community. I feel it's my calling to use my administrative skills to help in a small way with this. 

Outside of church, I enjoy walking in our beautiful countryside, listening to music and reading.
