I am David Green, married to Irene.  We came to live in Skipton in 2015 after retirement and started to attend Skipton Baptist church straight away.  Formerly, we were members of Lymm Baptist Church in Cheshire where I was the prayer deacon for 5 years.  We have two children, a son who lives in Beverly with his family and a daughter who lives in Edinburgh with her family.

I graduated as a mechanical engineer and worked for most of my professional life as a chartered engineer in the nuclear industry.  The work was research based in the development of tools and techniques for demonstrating nuclear safety.  I have a Masters degree in Technology Management which involved the study of Managing Change, Creativity, Accounting and Systems Management.

I became a church member in 2017 and joined the Deaconate in 2018 to serve as church treasurer.
