We'd like to tell you a bit about "The House"...

We are a lively, growing and outward-looking church, needing additional space to maintain our current effective projects and to enable us to introduce new initiatives to benefit our local community.  Currently our available space is fully utilised throughout the week, by our own activities and events and other community groups and we are full to capacity.

Back in September 2015, we as a church took the exciting step of purchasing some new premises directly adjacent to our existing site.  The property is in need of full refurbishment, which we plan to commence during 2016.  For many years this was a doctors' surgery, until a change of use to offices and finally a period of disuse over the last four years.  Our vision is to redevelop this now run down, empty, former surgery, which we've called "The House", into
a place of welcome, hope, life, acceptance and care, integrating our foodbankdebt counselling and staff offices as well as developing further practical and holistic support for the local community.

So, Phase 1 is complete - purchase of The House.
Phase 2 planning and further fundraising is in full flight, conclusion of which will see The House fully operational.  Phase 3, the final phase, will see us reorganise and refurbish our existing building to create a larger worship space and more appropriate access and facilities for our 21st century needs.

Isaiah 58:6-12 (particularly v11b-12) has been an important text for us in pursuing this vision.
